Finding a series again should not depend on remembering every title in an old browser tab. 1mov can make a text backup of your current list and checkpoints. Keep that text somewhere you control so you can restore it in another browser using this catalogue.
Create a backup
- Open My List.
- Select Create backup.
- Copy all the text from the List backup box.
- Store it in a note or text document you can find again.
The backup contains title identifiers and the season and episode numbers you chose. It does not contain passwords, payment details or a viewing-service login. Give your note a date so you know which copy is newest.
Restore without wiping your current list
Paste the saved text into Restore backup and select Merge backup. Recognised titles are added to the list already in this browser. Repeated entries are kept once. Existing checkpoints are preserved; imported checkpoints fill in only those that are missing.
Only titles recognised by the current catalogue can be restored. If a backup contains other identifiers, the result explains that some entries were skipped. An unreadable or unsupported backup is rejected without replacing your current list. Check the result before discarding the original note.
What about an old HuraMovies or 1mov.to account?
This tool restores backups made here. It cannot recover an account, email address, watch history or favourites from another website. If you still have an old list, search its titles and save the matching editions individually. Start with shows you are currently watching, then rebuild the longer list at your own pace.
