Start with a distinctive part of the name. Search understands stored title aliases and cast names as well as the displayed title. “HOTD” finds House of the Dragon; “Rings of Power” finds the longer Lord of the Rings series name. These aliases help with familiar shortcuts without changing the programme’s identity.
A film and a series can share a name
Read the format badge and first release year. One Day has a television adaptation as well as an earlier film, and a remake may reuse an older movie name. If the result looks wrong, use the format and year filters before opening it.
Make one choice at a time
Choose a genre, original language or year only when it helps. The movie-length filter excludes series because a show’s full run cannot be compared with one film’s running time. Reset clears those choices if the results get too narrow.
Actors and international titles
If you remember an actor, enter the performer’s name. Stored cast entries can connect you to several titles. International productions may also include translated or alternative titles. Try the original name when an English phrase does not match.
